There is so much beautiful landscape to explore with a ½ hour drive. You are only a 10 minute drive to the Malvern Hills and if previously arranged Rosalind or Chris will ferry you to the start line and collect you from the finish line to enable you to walk the entire 11 mile stretch of this fabulous ridge walk.

You are close the Forest of Dean, the Cotswolds and the Vale of Severn

In the Forest of Dean and Wye Valley you can take on a number of adventurous activities such as canoeing, climbing, cycling, mountain biking and there is a junior and an adult Go Ape!

Many of our visitors spend some time in the Cotswolds during their visit to visit the picture perfect towns and villages and walk in the Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

We are 4 miles from a single carriage road which allows this sense of seclusion however, once on the road you will find yourself to be 10 minutes to Tewkesbury with it’s medieval streets and Abbey, 20 minutes to Cheltenham which is a fantastic shopping experience amid the Regency facades. Smaller towns abound with Ledbury and Malvern all within a 20 minute drive with their tea and craft shops. For those with a particular interest in the county towns of the 3 counties with their stunning Norman cathedrals and medieval streets, you will find yourselves within easy reach of each being 20 minutes from Gloucester, 40 minutes Worcester 35 minutes Hereford.

If you are visiting during the summer months there is bound to be a local festival to entertain from the world renowned Tewkesbury Medieval Festival to the Tall Ships festival in Gloucester and the Coleford music festival in the Forest of Dean.
